Equal but different April 26, 2010

I realize that comments regarding race and equality are sensitive… but there are times when something needs to be said because it isn’t “right”.  This article raises a very good point.  I don’t believe the person who made the comments needs to be fired at all… that isn’t the point in my view… but what is more relevant to the point, for me, is the noted absence regarding Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.  Imagine the outcry if someone had made similar comments toward an African-American?  C’mon Al… c’mon Jesse… where’s the indignation?!  Where’s the cry for “justice”?  Why no demonstrations or appearances on Today or Good Morning America?

Your silence speaks volumes…
